Studiz access control helps institutions manage their access control system, so that this can be connected to classes and teams/subjects, while the access key is the digital student card.
Key features
Studiz access system simplifies and automates how institutions control door access - and removes the need for key tags, chips and similar. Administrators can assign access to user groups (such as classes, teams/electives or staff groups) and add individual users if needed. This ensures that the right people can unlock the right doors. Authorized users unlock doors via the Studiz app. This reduces manual coordination and keeps access management connected to the rest of Studiz/your student administrative system.
Admin access:
- Create and manage doors: Set up doors and assign opening modes to define lock behaviour (eg. 24/7 or scheduled).
- Opening modes & time periods: Schedule when an opening mode is valid by defining days and hour with time periods.
- Access groups & exceptions: Grant door access to user group (classes, staff teams, etc.) and add individual users when needed.
For students/users:
- Unlock with the Studiz app: User's digital key is continuously updated, so changes can be made at any time and take effect immediately.
- Access based on groups: Access can be granted through user groups (for example, a class) so that students can only access the doors they have permission to or the classes they follow.
- No additional equipment required: Studiz app is the "Key", reducing expenses and administrative work.
