On 1. January 2003, Randers FC was ready to crank out in Danish football as a superstructure consisting of the six football clubs Randers Sportsklub Freja, Dronningborg Boldklub, Kristrup Boldklub, Vorup Frederiksberg Boldklub, Hornbæk Sports Forening and Randers KFUM.
