Verification methods may vary depending on your educational institution.

Most commonly we use WAYF and UNI-login to verify student status - a central databases used by educational institutions. For example, if your institution is integrated with WAYF, we'll use it for verification. Therefore, you will need to log in into the WAYF system by entering your institution's credentials provided to you by your school (username/student number and password).

Additionally, alternative verification methods may include uploading documentation such as a picture of your student-ID, or entering an activation token that you receive on your e-mail.

To ensure access to your digital student card and exclusive online student discounts, we require confirmation that you are currently a student. By verifying your student status, we guarantee that only eligible students have access to these discounts. This verification process assures partnering companies that their offers are exclusively available to students.
If you encounter difficulty finding your institution, it might be caused by the app following your phone's language settings. Please, pay attention to that - your school's name may appear differently depending if the sign up form is in Danish or English.

For example, "Business College Aalborg" in English will be "Aalborg Handelsskole" in Danish.

If you're still unable to find your institution or field of study listed in our app, don't worry, we're here to help. Here's what you can do:

- Reach out to our customer support team by sending an e-mail to [email protected] or giving us a call at +45 71 99 75 20.

- Let us know the name of your institution and your field of study that are missing from the list.

- We'll work to verify the information and update our records accordingly. We continuously strive to improve our database and add new institutions and fields of study in app updates.
Typically, verification through WAYF or UNI-login can be completed almost instantly, once you've entered your institution's account information.

However, the documentation upload process might take slightly longer as it requires manual review by our team.

Rest assured, we strive to verify your student status as swiftly as possible to grant you access to the benefits and discounts available through our app.
To keep things running smoothly and make sure only students get the benefits, every half a year our system runs a verification check. Basically, it's our way of double-checking that you're still a student and not someone trying to sneak in.

So, if you want to keep using your digital student card and getting those awesome discounts, you'll need to confirm you're still a student after those dates. But don't stress, your digital student-ID won’t expire while you are student, and we'll send you an email when it's time to reverify.
The changing of educational institution and/or field of education takes place inside your profile page in the app. If you press to edit your profile and specify new education information, you will be navigated to verify your student status to not lose access to your benefits.

P.S. If your new institution is using UNI-login, it is crucial that the institution has updated the UNI-login's information to be your "primary institution".
Deleting your profile will remove all your personal information and data associated with the Studiz app.

If you will be starting studies again at some point, you can just leave your profile for later. But if you still decide to delete it, you can do it by logging into your Studiz profile on the website and navigating to the “Settings”.
